Every other halo game has had all the game types on release, im talking about slayer, capture the flag, swat, team doubles, action sack, big team, oddball, king of the hill, assault, territories, infection, vip.
Halo infinite somehow comes out with basically two game modes. Yes, quick play has a variety of different game modes but that is a lazy i mplementation. On top of halo infinite releasing with limited multiplayer game types, it released with no forge, no cooperative campaign, no firefight.
But guess what it does release with, a store to buy cosmetics that happens to be the worst of any game I have ever experienced. They had to know the blow back by the community but were playing with how much they could get away with, which is ridiculous. I know halo infinite is a free game and the company needs to make money somehow but the level of stupidity behind the whole design of the cosmetic store and the lack of content on release is just jaw dropping.
It was a blast and truly fun to see a huge line of people waiting for a huge release of a game like that. You play halo infinite for any amount of time you get sick of the lack of maps, you get sick of the lack of variety of game modes, you want to go show one of your friends a cool clip in theater and theater barley works and what you did in game looks nothing like what is being observed in theater.
Forge missing , so lack of community created content, no cooperative campaign so everyone must play the campaign solo. Like come on, how did the game release in this bad of a state…. I am developer myself and I know the stresses and longevity of creating and implementing features by project managers who are bad at understanding what the end user really wants but I am not paid to design a product how I think it should be designed, I am paid to design the product the way the project managers and product owners want the product to be designed within the time frame given.
I feel that this must be the case of what happened to halo infinite, the product owners are just focused on what can make them the most amount of money with the least number of features. An MVP is the minimum viable product which basically means what can we release with that will give people enough engagement to start bringing the company revenue to get enough funds to finish the product.
I guess in a way did exactly that, they released a shell of a halo experience, solo campaign because it is harder to implement cooperative so they will add that in later. A broken theater mode but it at the bare minimum displays the map you played and your spartan walking around like a toddler who just figured out how to move a joystick. Download Here.

The sound effects on the other hand are really amazing. You will be able to hear even the tiniest sound in the silence. The fight scenes have a lot of noise.
